This photo was taken on site to celebrate breaking of ground for seven new dwellings in Marston Montgomery. It’s great to see development re-starting here after the site closed earlier in the year due to Covid19 restrictions.
Work continues
Progress on site at our new building of affordable apartments in Bedminster for Solon in Bristol. So good to see the development of this prominent brownfield site.
St James Mangotsfield
Re-ordering works at St James Church Mangotsfield have been handed over. This photo was taken at our last visit to the project on site with Hart Design and Construction Ltd. We think it looks beautiful and we are looking forward to visiting. Congratulations to everyone involved.
Folk House
We have been working with Bristol Folk House to develop plans to improve accessibility within their building. Planning Approval has recently been granted for a new lift and remodelled entrance to create easy access for all.

Portland Square
Approval has been granted subject to S106 agreements for new student accommodation at Portland Square. The scheme will refurbish and restore the dilapidated Listed buildings and reinstate the historic building line along Cave Street.

It was a beautiful day when wevisited Waverley Gardens after the scaffolding was removed and we saw the building without it for the first time.

We recently received planning permission in Old Market for United Communities. The development will provide 50 new affordable apartments in Bristol
Staff Trip
Great weather for the staff trip! We've had a great day out at Hauser and Wirth gallery gardens and at Bombay Sapphire distillery at Laverstoke Mill. Such an enjoyable day exploring the architecture!

E G Carter celebrated breaking ground on site at Bedmister Road, Bristol. The new development will see 29 new affordable homes built for completion in 2021
Completed Projects Trip
We took a tour to see some of our completed projects in the local area including Cecil Road, Spring Acres, Pucklechurch and Downend. An interesting afternoon, good learning experience and a great opportunity to speak to the local residents about their homes.

ABC centre
We worked on the ABC centre with Brunelcare to improve access in and around the new extension to Bristol’s very first Sheltered Housing Unit. The scheme was focused on producing a sustainable and ecologically sound solution utilising recycled elements and a green roof.
The Meadows
We managed to find a sunny day last week to pop by and see how work is progressing on site at the newly christened “The Meadows” in Yate for Windmill Care.
Simple yet elegant
This simple yet elegant extension sits above an existing garage within the conservation area of Bristol. It was designed as a workroom, and incorporates low embodied energy design with solar collection integral to the roof panels.
